A Taste of Hawaii in Florence

I absolutely love this place! Such a unique and fresh menu. They have specials all the time and have quite large portions! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun sushi or Hawaiian inspired menu. You won't be disappointed!

Great find. Food was amazing. Staff and owners are so friendly. What a great location and decor. Hawaiian themed throughout with complementing music and attire which brings it all together. Nice bar with 7 Devils beer on tap, sake, tropical cocktails and more. Sushi, fish, burgers, and so much more. Reservations are a good idea. It’s small but worth it. Absolutely coming back!

Dishes were crazy delicious and service was super nice, our group ordered the really good cheeseburger and one of the specials, a pulled pork burger, and they were also huge. I ordered the hamachi tartar and it was the best I had ever had. The microgreens salad had some edible flowers (mine had a few pink snapdragons) in it too and gave it a surprisingly pleasant floral note. Can't wait to go back again!

I always forget how big and freaking delicious the sushi is here. Props to the guys in the kitchen for handling the enormous amount of orders they had and still getting food out in a timely fashion for walk ins like me.

Great food, very nice people and atmosphere. Short wait time for service and for the food. Unique and delicious menu items, though a bit limited and changes often which can be a good and a bad thing.

Biggest piece of Mahi we've ever been served was at The Hukilau. The owner was around and was very kind and welcoming. He's from Maui so you know this place has true heart for Hawai'i. The only downfall is that service was extremely slooooow. If you plan to dine in during this COVID pandemic, plan on being here for more than one hour. This is totally understandable given the limiting factors out of their hands, so just good to have the right expectations before going in. The fish and food were truly fresh so worth it if you can afford the time and patience!

This place is the real deal. Everything was absolutely perfect: From their sushi, the main dish (I had the Hawaiian Vacation burger) and especially the AMAZING service. The owners really care about what they are doing here. You can taste the love! Mahalo! 🤙🏻

One of the best spots in Florence. We make it a point to come here every time we visit. The daily specials are always fun and exciting. Six Gun Gary is one of our favorite specialty sushi rolls, but really everything on the menu is great. Excellent drinks and masubis as well!

Amazing food and service. The owners are always friendly, awesome people. We have never had a bad meal or experience. Sometimes the wait may be a while but that's because they are so delicious and popular. If you get an opportunity eat here.

Food tonight was not good. We had angry dragons which had so much sauce they were like soup. 6 gun so salty we could not eat.

Their vacation burger was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of burgers. 🍔 😍❤️ Will definitely be back!

A wonderful locally owned restaurant with amazing fresh food! Any special is bound to be wonderful. The staff are all so sweet and helpful. Try the volcano chicken if you aren’t up for sushi. The side of Mac salad is also the best I’ve ever had!

If it were possible to give more than five stars I would. Family owned and operated with a staff that is efficient without sacrificing the Ohana spirit. Their menu is creative with a variety of delicious dishes from burgers to sushi. Serving the freshest sushi and creative entrees. Simply the best. So glad they are in Florence.

Delicious food and cocktails. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry. The food was so so so delicious.

This place is a must try. The sushi is so fresh and the atmosphere is very casual and friendly. People are very friendly to eat other and an easy place new friends. The sushi was awesome with some unique choices that most places don’t offer like the baby octopus.

Deliciousness. We had the Viking roll, 6 Gun Gary roll, the mahi tacos and shrimp tacos. We had to wait over an hour for take out but it was worth every mouth watering bite.

Amazing food, amazing service! This is not fast-food, so don't go if you are in a hurry. My family was camping in Florence this weekend we decided to make reservations for all eleven of us for dinner. The place is small, so we took up a lot of room. We way over ordered, eager to try so many delicious items on the menu. And the place was packed and more large group reservations showing up soon. It was apparent that we pushed them to their limit, but they were so gracious, the food was amazing and we all had a delightful evening. This is my all time favorite place to eat anywhere! I wish they would open one in Eugene!

We loved it and are going back. They gave us an Asian picked vegetarian appetizer and it was awesome. We split a teriyaki chicken taco and a Hawaiian hamburger, they were both excellent. Thanks Chri for the heads up, you to Tam.

I had the salmon special and I cannot remember having a better meal. The staff was very good and the restaurant attracts very friendly people. Excellent atmosphere. I will travel 2 hours again just to eat there.

Honestly the best food we've had at a sit down restaurant in a long time. It might be the best food in Florence. The family that owns it are all very friendly. The food came quickly. Everything that was served at other tables looked incredible as well. We'll be back as soon as humanly possible.

This place got me loving sushi!!..And they are super chill and friendly
